U. S. Senator Joni Ernst was in Forest City and Lake Mills on Friday as a part of her 99 county tour through Iowa. During the stops she visited Winnebago Industries and WCTA in Lake Mills. Both companies gave her an extensive tour of their sites and she had the opportunity to talk with employees and reunite with a an old friend.
Ernst listened to the concerns having to do with state wide infrastructure, potential growth of companies, the current and future state of health insurance premiums and its impact on employees and business both large and small, and the need for more federal help in growing rural telecommunications infrastructure.
Ernst made a point to stop and discuss these with KIOW News Director A. J. Taylor and how local entrepreneurs can make a difference in Washington in growing business infrastructure opportunities.
