Ernst Applauds Loeffler’s Reforms to SBA, Returning Employees to Main Street

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship Chair Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) released the following statement after Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced a series of reforms at the Small Business Administration (SBA).

“I am thrilled to see Administrator Loeffler enact these long-overdue reforms, many of which I have been calling for, to return SBA to Main Street and empower small businesses,” said Ernst. “From improving fiscal responsibility in lending programs to going after pandemic fraudsters, the Trump administration is getting the agency back on the right track. These actions will trim the fat and right-size what has become an out-of-touch agency. When small businesses thrive, America thrives, and after four long years, entrepreneurs finally have champions at the SBA and White House who understand their needs and are fighting for them.”
