WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined her Republican colleagues today to discuss Democrats’ threats to pack the Supreme Court. In her remarks, Ernst noted that the late Justice Ginsburg opposed the idea of adding justices to the Supreme Court—which has stood with nine justices for the last 150 years—and called for passage of a constitutional amendment to stop this radical plan.
