WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Chuck Grassley’s (R-IA) Iowa Community Colleges Resolution passed the Senate. The resolution offers congratulations to the community colleges of Iowa for 50 years of outstanding service to the state of Iowa, the United States, and the world.
“Over the past year I have had the opportunity to visit with educators and students at many of our Iowa community colleges throughout the state,” Senator Ernst said, “I have been consistently impressed by their work in their communities to prepare students for a competitive job market. This resolution recognizes the important and critical role Iowa community colleges play in educating our citizens. I’m grateful for their service over the last half of a century and I look forward to many more years of success to come.”
