Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Carver Pump of Muscatine County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
“The Carver Pump team prioritizes high-quality hardware, attentive customer service, and cutting-edge research and development in everything they do,” said Ranking Member Ernst. “Their third-generation family ownership, support for our U.S. Navy, and commitment to giving back to Iowa make me proud to recognize them as my Small Business of the Week.”
Since building their first machines in 1938, Carver Pump has grown into a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps used in the mining, agriculture, automotive, and maritime industries. Notably, the Carver Pump team has provided critical products to the U.S. Navy since World War II. Three generations of the Carver family have worked at the company and contributed to both the manufacturing industry and philanthropic efforts in Iowa associated with the Roy J. Carver Trust. In 2023, Carver Pump celebrated its 85th business anniversary.
Stay tuned as Ranking Member Ernst recognizes more Iowa small businesses across the state with her Small Business of the Week award.
