Ernst Names Small Business of the Week, Delta Metals
Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Delta Metals of Decatur County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.
“Marvin Peachey has raised the roof and crafted dreams through Delta Metals’ commitment to designing dependable buildings,”said Ranking Member Ernst. “Delta Metals is the real steel deal, creating durable and beautiful structures for all their customers.”
In 2013, Marvin Peachey opened Delta Metals in Leon, Iowa. The business offers a wide variety of products and services, from full-scale metal roofing and paneling to designing building packages for barndominiums. In 2022, Delta Metals opened their new headquarters in Lamoni to meet the company’s expanding needs. In recognition of the business’ contributions and service to the community, the Decatur County Development Corporation awarded Delta Metals with the 2019 Business of the Year Award. This past July, Delta Metals celebrated its 11th anniversary in Iowa.
