WASHINGTON— With time dwindling to pass the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – which has passed Congress on a bipartisan basis for the last 60 years—U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, called out the Biden administration and Democrats for using the NDAA as a scapegoat for their unrelated, liberal priorities. Ernst demanded that Congress and the president put aside their partisan agenda and focus on provisions related to national security, and ultimately, get the bill done.
