Ernst Speaks with WOWT about Benefits of E15 Year-Round

WASHINGTON – Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) spoke with WOWT yesterday about the benefits of selling E15 year-round. A portion of her interview is highlighted below.

LAUREN TAYLOR: Iowa Senator Joni Ernst says she is excited and hopes it will stabilize the state's farm industry.

SENATOR ERNST: …This will have an increased demand for corn and, of course, providing consumers additional choice at the pump all year-round. What we also see this as is a great move for regulatory reform.  That's a lot of regulation on those retailers when they have to switch out their pumps to accommodate the changes for E15 during the summer months.
