Ernst Stresses Need to Provide Additional COVID-19 Relief, Secure Supply Chain

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) today continued to stress what she is hearing from Iowans: additional COVID-19 relief is needed during this pandemic. She encouraged both sides to cooperate to get a deal done. Ernst also highlighted the work she is doing to secure our supply chain and reduce dependency on Communist China—something that has become clear during this pandemic—including her latest effort, the Mobilize AMERICA Act , which would provide a significant incentive for the private sector to on-shore and increase domestic manufacturing of critical medical supplies.

The Iowa senator, who served 23 years in the Army Reserves and Iowa Army National Guard, also noted that this week the football teams for the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy (Army) will play each other in the annual Army v. Navy football game—also known as “America’s Game.”
