The Iowa senator outlined ways she hopes to build on the successes of the last three years: lower Rx drug costs, ensure paid family leave, improve access to child care for Iowa’s working families
WASHINGTON—Just a week after the State of the Union address, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) today spoke on the successes and vision the president laid out during his speech, including the pro-growth policies that have led to a strong economy in Iowa, and across the country.
Ernst also outlined her efforts to continue supporting Iowa workers and families by working across the aisle and with the administration to lower prescription drug costs, ensure paid parental leave, improve access to child care, and remove additional trade barriers.
