Ernst Supports Nationwide Access to IVF

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) joined her colleagues in releasing the following statement on nationwide IVF access:

“Senate Democrats have embraced a Summer of Scare Tactics—a partisan campaign of false fearmongering intended to mislead and confuse the American people. In vitro fertilization is legal and available in every state across our nation. We strongly support continued nationwide access to IVF, which has allowed millions of aspiring parents to start and grow their families.”

Background:

Since 2017, Ernst has been working to provide access to safe and effective over-the-counter birth control for women.

Last week, Ernst made an effort to pass her Allowing Greater Access to Safe and Effective Contraception Act that Democrats blocked, once again proving their tactics are purely political.
