RED OAK, Iowa – Following the FY2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) becoming law, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran and member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, is touting her efforts to end American energy dependence on our foreign adversaries.
“Energy security is national security, which is why we should end our dependence on compromised supply chains. These measures will rebuild the critical minerals defense stockpile and ensure reliability and security of energy sources,” said Ernst. “An America that marshals its own critical resources is resilient against its adversaries.”
