The Iowa senator supports a resolution condemning President Biden for withholding aid to Israel.
WASHINGTON – Building on her efforts to hold President Biden accountable to his “ironclad” commitment to Israel, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) is supporting a resolution to condemn the president’s decision to withhold weapons from our greatest Middle Eastern ally.
“I just returned from Israel, and it’s clear America’s leadership at this moment is imperative. Our servicemembers are under attack by Iran-backed proxies, and our citizens are held captive by Hamas. The last thing we need is a president who waffles in his support for our ally, but we have one who has broken his ‘ironclad’ promise by withholding weapons from Israel. These are the precision tools needed to target Hamas and protect civilians,” said Ernst. “We already have the mouthpieces of Hamas here at home, violently ‘protesting’ on college campuses – we don’t need it in the White House. It’s clear we need new leadership.”

At a press conference yesterday, Ernst called President Biden a propaganda tool of Hamas. Learn more here.
After Biden doubled down on his decision to revoke ammo from Israel, Ernst blasted the president for talking out of both sides of his mouth and reiterated her efforts to hold him accountable.
While she was in Israel this week, Ernst received reports that the United States withheld an ammunition shipment to Israel, which would help it defend itself from Hamas. She and Senator Ted Budd (R-N.C.) immediately demanded answers from President Biden on what ammunition his administration withheld from Israel, whether it was ammunition approved by Congress, and why Congress was not notified.
