Ernst: Americans Want Answers on Afghanistan

After today’s Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Afghanistan, Senator Ernst noted two things: 1) we abandoned Americans behind enemy lines—despite how DOD officials are trying to spin history and 2) it’s clear President Biden has no viable plan for defeating terrorist threats emboldened by his departure. Ernst, a veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, stated that the American people want answers and she is committed to getting them.
