Ernst questioned Joseph Goffman, who Biden has picked to be Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation—which has jurisdiction over the RFS—about his past comments saying the RFS is “not successful” and an “uncertainty plagued mechanism for providing subsidies to the ag sector”.
