Ernst Urges Prompt Passage of Bipartisan NDAA

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities and a combat veteran, called on her fellow lawmakers to act quickly in passing the annual defense bill, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2020. Senator Ernst cited the NDAA’s bipartisan support and the need to provide our military men and women with the tools needed to keep our country safe, particularly with recent actions by Iran.
